call0450 661 642What Will It Actually Cost to Get Your Pool Certified?
Pool compliance made simple. A licensed inspector, no admin fee, and a free CPR sign with online booking. If your pool complies, your certificate can be issued the same day.

*Based on GCPI inspection records. Past results, not a guarantee. Every pool is different.
Don’t compare inspection fees. Compare the path to certification.
If your pool is already compliant and a lower-priced provider includes everything you need, a $95 inspection may genuinely cost less. Before you book, also check:

Why choosing the right inspector matters
If a non-compliant Form 26 is issued, you are legally required to use the same inspector during the three-month reinspection period. So their communication, rectification advice, availability and reinspection costs all matter too.
The difference appears when you fail the inspection.
Same pool, same problem: the gate doesn’t self-close and there’s no CPR sign. Here’s how it can play out when the inspection, repairs and reinspection are each handled separately, and how GCPI handles it in one visit.
Illustrative example. $95–$195 inspection range, $75–$160 reinspection range and $47.30 certificate based on published Gold Coast prices, 30 Sept 2026. Handyman costs are typical estimates and vary by provider.

Sebastian BeierYour Gold Coast pool inspectorHow much does a pool safety inspection cost?
Inspectors set their own prices and package them differently, so compare the certificate, CPR sign, admin and reinspection fees, not just the inspection. GCPI Complete Compliance is $197 with the certificate included.
What happens if my pool doesn’t comply?
You’ll receive a Form 26 explaining what needs fixing. By law, the reinspection must be done by the same inspector, and requested within three months. If reinspection isn’t requested in that time, the inspector must notify council.
Can the inspector fix minor issues on the day?
Often, yes. Licensed inspectors can carry out minor repairs, such as adjusting a latch or hinge or removing a climbable object, where permitted and practical.
What does a GCPI reinspection cost?
$120, or $60 if GCPI completes the required rectification work.
How long is a pool safety certificate valid?
2 years for non-shared pools, 1 year for shared pools.
